Krissy is an accomplished feature writer, copywriter, and photographer.
Welcome to my Blog, Last Place in a One-Woman Race, as well as my professional portfolio. I’m a multi-tasker so of course these two things needed to be in the same space. I have been a published writer for a decade, and in that time I have got to work with many exceptionally talented people and I strive to bring my all when it comes to writing and creating.
Currently, I am enrolled in Copy School by Copyhackers, where I will earn several certificated in the copywriting field, AI, SEO and more! The estimated completion date in Sept., 2025.
The End Line

Please consider buying my husband’s book(s), The End Line. Get lost in this cult sci-fi trilogy and follow along with the crew on this epic adventure to find away home. Books One and Two are now available for purchase! All proceeds go toward my cancer battle.
About the author
Krissy Block
I am a plant hoarder, pet mom, and wife. My husband, Lee Block, and I were married last August. We are both accomplished writers, and we love to sit around and make stories together. I love music; I am a big Paul McCartney fan, Judy Garland is my idol, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers rock my world.
You know I’m listening to music while I write; a soundtrack is a must! Maybe if you are lucky, I’ll share some of my favorite playlists.
Of course, I am an avid reader and writer. I like to read the works of F Scott Fitzgerald, Henry David Thoreau, and Hunter S Thompson. Yeah, eye roll, I know, how cliche. But, not matter how you look at it his drug filled sweat pours onto the page in a destructive yet highly intelligent way. Seeing as you are reading this, you know I aspire to write like him, raw, honest, and chaotic.

Krissy, this is by far my favorite piece you’ve written. It moved me to tears, and I’m so incredibly proud of you for having the strength and courage to share your story. Your words are powerful, and I can only imagine the impact they will have. As always, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
